You will find many activities to occupy your time while visiting the Valentine area. While staying at our facilities, besides kicking back and relaxing and enjoying the company of your fiends and family, we have many other things you can enjoy. We have hiking trails, yard games, a fire pit for evening bonfires, access to the river for swimming or wading and a 25 acres marsh where you can paddle around in one of our canoes and try your luck at catch and release fishing. If you bring your own bikes, it is only a short ride to the “Cowboy Trail” where you can continue your ride into Valentine (about 5 miles). While there you can visit the local sites, enjoy a meal or simply enjoy a day of beautiful scenery.
If you have more time on your trip, you can make a day trip to the Badlands of South Dakota and visit the famous Wall Drug Store at Wall. SD and be back in time for supper.
